Would you like to have a go at trail riding but don’t have your own bike? We are pleased to offer to club members the chance to ride the green roads of Wales on May 7th and 8th 2022 with Trail Riding Rhayader, one of the most experienced trail riding providers available.
You will be riding green lanes and legal byways, only using tarmac roads to link up the green lanes, covering on average 100 to 120 miles in a day. The routes will be aimed at less experienced trail riders and will include open moorland, mountain rocky trails, rivers and streams to ford, grass trails and ancient roads.
The hire bikes are Husqvarna FE250 trail bikes which are a great trail / enduro bike for novice through to experienced riders. The price is £230 per person per day and includes bike hire, insurance, fuel, helmet, boots, body armour, knee pads, gloves, googles, water proof jacket & trousers.
Booking – the club are pleased to offer a £50 subsidy for each person and this will bring the price to £180 for the bike/gear hire. You will only need to cover your accommodation and travel costs. To book your place please go to the OMCC shop [insert link]. There are 5 places available each day for people wish to hire bikes and please ensure you pick the correct day. You will need to pay a £50 deposit with the remainder due 4 weeks before we go.
There is no accommodation on site but we will provide details of local bed and breakfast options that are within 15 minutes of the base. You will need to make your own arrangements for travel and accommodation.
