You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive regular newsletters describing forthcoming events and release dates, then you can select to opt-out of such communications by ticking the relevant boxes situated under your personal profile on the OMCC web site. When you purchase OMCC membership for the first time you will be automatically opted into receiving these notifications which includes confirmation of your membership.
If you have purchased a place at an OMCC event you automatically consent to us contacting you, where needed, specifically about that event. Some events are run on MoD land and as such we may need to contact you to inform you of any documentation requirements, safety issues, delays or cancellations of the event. For that reason, you are unable to opt out of event communications to which you have purchased a place other than by requesting removal from the event by way of a refund, as per the instructions in the Terms and Conditions.
All information held by OMCC about you is available through your OMCC online profile page.
Security precautions are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information.
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Our site is secured using SSL encryption. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of your web browser.
Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
At any time, you may request deletion of your information that is held by OMCC. This can be done in one of two ways.
The simplest method is to head to your OMCC Profile page and click the ‘Delete My OMCC Account’ button. This will set in motion your OMCC Account removal and termination of OMCC Membership.
If you have difficulties using this option, please email email@example.com
If your online profile contains an email address you will receive a confirmation email that your data has been deleted. This communication will be copied to OMCC and we will retain a copy of that email as evidence that we have processed your deletion request. Alternatively, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please include some personal information such as name, address and phone number for easy identification. We may contact you to confirm your details to ensure we treat your data correctly.
Removal of the data from the database will terminate your membership of OMCC. If you wished to renew the membership after that time, even within the same calendar year, it will be treated as a new membership request. No refund will be given for any outstanding months of remaining membership for any given year.
Deletion of your account will immediately terminate your annual membership with OMCC.
There is no refund of the annual membership fee regardless of when it was paid and when the deletion request is made.
You will be immediately removed from any current or future event that you have paid for.
There is no refund of costs for any such event once you initiate the removal of your OMCC Account.
You may sign up for a new OMCC membership at any time.

A new law on cookies demands that you, as a website user, are given the opportunity to understand how cookies are used on our websites and consent to cookies being stored on your computer (laptop/mobile/tablet).
A cookie is a small text file, typically of letters and numbers, downloaded to your computer when you access websites. Typically, they contain the following information: a site name and unique user ID, the duration of the cookie’s abilities and effects, and a random number. As a rule, cookies cannot be used to reveal your identity or personally identifying information.
Generally, the role of cookies is beneficial, making your interaction with frequently-visited sites smoother with no extra effort on your part. Without cookies, online shopping would be much harder. Without cookies, some websites will become less interactive with the cookie option turned off.
These cookies expire when you close your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome). These cookies are used for various reasons, for example, remembering what you have put in your shopping basket as you browse a website. They can also be used for security to access your Internet banking or email.
These cookies are still stored on your computer after you have closed your web browser which allows your preferences on websites to be remembered. These cookies are used for a variety of purposes, for example, remembering your preferences on a website (your language choice or your user name on a particular website).
This refers to the website placing the cookie. First party cookies are cookies set by the website you are visiting. Third party cookies are set by another website; the website you are visiting may have advertising on the page and this other website will be able to set a cookie on your computer. Third party cookies on the main web browsers allow third party cookies by default. Changing the settings on your browsers can prevent this.
There are some exemptions to the above where it is essential for a website to store information on your computer, for example, to provide a service to you that you have requested.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this site, do not become a member and do not use the forum.
