OMCC Charity Donations
Over the years, the OMCC have been donating monies to worthy causes in and around the local area and as far away as the Welsh Air Ambulance Services. Although donations go back as far as the late 90’s, since 2016 the OMCC has donated some £34,105 to the various charities outlined below.

As you can see, the OMCC is not just any old bike club, it’s a community that prides itself on supporting local charities. Within the last 5 years, we have given over £34k to charity and this is only the beginning!
We have been fortunate enough to be in a position to donate money; supporting several charities. These include various Air Ambulance Services, RAF Benevolent Fund, St Micheal’s and the Heart of Kent Hospice, Children with the cancer, multiple Just Giving pages and this is just to name a few. Our club members have even gone sober and climbed mountains for us to raise monies for charities!
Every Christmas we spend at least £500 on toys and give them to the Basingstoke Children’s Hospital. Plus in April we don our Easter bunny ears and donate Easter eggs for the children to enjoy. The Hospital say that without the toy donation, many children would be left without something to open on Christmas Day. This may seem like a small amount, but for the children it means the world, so it’s one that we make as our highest priority; even Covid didn’t stop us in 2020!
In Sep 2019, the OMCC was responsible for suggesting and organizing the start point for the PC Harper Ride of Respect out of RAF Benson. Nearly 4,000 bikers took part raising over £30,000 for charity. Club members were involved throughout the day, for the setup, helping to park all the bikes and the taking down.
The club has grown in size year on year but we haven’t forgotten our core principles and charity remains at the top of them.
